Over 19 years ago, Scott Whittaker started his own plastering business after working for the successful commercial plastering company, Supyk Plastering. Since then Scott has built up the company to what it is today, with a loyal team of employees and subcontractors that support the high standard of finish left on all his jobs. With their strong work ethic and demand for quality and service, the team can be relied on for satisfaction.

Scott remains a traditional two coat plasterer, leaving the smooth finish that has left him with reviews such as the ‘Picasso of the plastering trade’ and achieving the recognition of being a British Gypsum certified plasterer.
KS Whittaker also carry out external rendering, whereby they apply a five part, through coloured system, to offer buildings better weather protection, better thermal properties and a smart finish, adding to the kerb appeal of the property.

KS Whittaker Plastering Ltd. are both K-rend and Johnstones Stormshield trained and approved.

The company has grown through repeat business and referrals, aiming to always leave a happy customer. Scott’s experience in all aspects of building, fireplace fitting and other areas of construction means he can be a valuable asset to any job. He has a close team of other trades who work for him on any job, meaning Scott can oversee all projects to completion.

The company is based in Macclesfield, and works all over Cheshire and surrounding areas. We now have a large number of loyal customers in Bollington, Prestbury, Macclesfield, Wilmslow, Didsbury, Bowden and Alderley Edge. From small renovations to large prestigious new builds, commercial to residential, Scott’s team can turn their hand to any job.

The company has also offered multiple positions to young people who were wanting to learn a skilled trade and the company partners with Salford College to offer them full NVQ Level 2 in Plastering qualifications.

We have taken on and trained a number of apprentices so far, signing them all up to college, encouraging them and training them up, to earn their NVQ level 2.
